Flat Stanley Arrives in North Florida

I made it safely to North Florida, Luisa! It was a fun trip from Texas to Florida. Mrs. Sandy buckled me in my seat in her truck so I would be safe on the ride to her home.

Luisa, llegue muy bien al Norte de Florida! El viaje de Texas a Florida fue divertido. La Sra. Sandy me puso el cinturón en el asiento de su camioneta para que estuviera muy seguro en el camino a su casa.


It was a long ride home. But it was fun. I think it is going to rain because it's getting dark outside. We made it home - we have a really long driveway to drive up to the house.

El camino a la casa fue muy largo, pero divertido. Creo que va a llover porque se esta nublando mucho. Llegamos a casa – el camino de entrada a la casa es muy largo.


Wow! There are a lot of woods around her house. Maybe I will see some wild animals, I hope so.

Wow! Hay muchos árboles al rededor de su casa. Espero que pueda ver algunos animales salvajes.

We made Flat Stanley.
Hicimos una figura de “Flat Stanley”.
Stanley went to the school.
Stanley fue a la escuela.
Stanley pays attention.
Stanley pone atención.
He writes his spelling words.
Stanley escribe sus palabras de ortografía.

Luisa’s Flat Stanley has hair covering her eyes.
La figura “Flat Stanley” de Luisa tiene el cabello cubriéndole los ojos.
Maria’s Flat Stanley has 2 bows and pretty hair.
La figura “Flat Stanley” de María tiene dos moños y cabello muy bonito.
Jonathan’s Flat Stanley has gold spots.
La figura “Flat Stanley” de Jonathan tiene círculos color dorado.
Rafael’s Flat Stanley has wind blown hair.
La figura “Flat Stanley” de Rafael tiene el cabello volando por el aire.

Luisa’s Flat Stanley is eating lunch.

Luisa asked Flat Stanley, “Are you hungry?”
Luisa le pregunto a Flat Stanley, “¿Tienes hambre?”
Flat Stanley said, “Yes!”
Flat Stanley dijo, “Si!”
She drank chocolate milk.
Tomo leche de chocolate.
She enjoyed the milk.
Disfruto mucho la leche.

Rafael’s Flat Stanley was very hungry and begging for food.

Maria’s Flat Stanley and Rafael’s Flat Stanley are friends.

He sat at the table outside and ate.
Se sentó en la mesa de afuera y se puso a comer.
He ate all the pizza but was still hungry so he ate the cheese filled crust.
Se comió toda la pizza pero todavía tenia hambre, así es que se comió la orilla rellena de queso.

Maria’s Flat Stanley is eating an orange.

She drank white milk.
Tomo leche sola.
She has pretty hair.
Tiene bonito cabello.
When lunch is finished, she plays outside.
Cuando termina el almuerzo, se sale a jugar afuera.
